CEEPUS

CEEPUS

Since 1995, CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies) has enabled students to travel on transnational exchange to partner universities in Central Europe within an academic network, or as a freemover.

CEEPUS provides short- and long-term mobilities for BA (one semester), MA (1-5 months) and PhD (1-3 months) students as well as grants for visiting teachers (minimum 6 teaching hours/5 working days stay required). Outgoing mobilities are only available to EU citizens. Students of European Studies, Political Science, and International Relations are welcome to apply.

The coordinator at the Institute of European Studies is Dr Natasza Styczyńska (natasza.styczynska@uj.edu.pl).

Exchanges within CEEPUS academic networks

Students, PhD candidates, and researchers wishing to undertake mobility within a CEEPUS academic network (see networks below) should register in the CEEPUS system at www.ceepus.info. After you have created an account, you can submit mobility applications in the ‘MY CEEPUS’ panel. You must submit your application no later than 15 June (for a winter semester exchange) or 30 October (for a spring semester exchange).

Freemover mobility

Freemover mobilities are intended for students and researchers from CEEPUS member countries who pursue mobility outside of an existing academic network at a university in another CEEPUS country. The consent of the host university is required and places are limited. Freemover mobilities are awarded for the summer semester only. You should submit your application no later than 30 November of the academic year in which you plan your period of stay.
