Tenure in philosophy in the Faculty of Philosophy at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow, 2020; PhD in philosophy from the Institute of Philosophy of the Jagiellonian University, 2003; Master’s degree in theology in Faculty of Catholic Theology from the University of Vienna, 2013. Associate professor at the Jagiellonian University, Faculty of International and Political Studies, Institute of European Studies, editor-in-chief of the academic journal Euro-Facta, vice-president of the SYLFF Fellows Association at the Jagiellonian University (JUSFA).
His research interests include the philosophy of Martin Heidegger, Emmanuel Levinas, Józef Tischner, Alfred North Whitehead, phenomenology and hermeneutics, multiculturalism, human rights, tolerance, identity, experiences of the other, theology and cosmology. Visiting professor: Department of Sociology, Faculty of Philosophy and Education at the University of Vienna, and Hannah Arendt Institute for the research on Totalitarianism in Dresden. Scholarship: The Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship and the University of Coimbra (Portugal). Studied philosophy at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, as well as theology at the University of Salzburg and the University of Vienna. Has lectured at universities in Germany, Austria, Portugal, Greece and Israel. Member of the Polish Society for European Studies and the Society of Philosophical Pedagogy Bronisław Trentowski.
