Sociologist, in 2005 completed doctoral studies at the Centre for European Studies of the Jagiellonian University. Has also studied and done research at places including LSE, Oxford, Cambridge, Leuven, and Osaka. Mainly interested in heterodox interpretations of regional integrations and eurocritical strands in current social thought.
Since 2020 he is the Chair of the Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Research Network and Editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Collection, USA. Since 2019 a member of the Advisory Board of the Global Studies Research Network, USA. Since 2016 a member of the Commission on Threats to Civilisation of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences in Krakow, Poland.
